Billets of different types and sizes of building elements: rods, tubes, rings, bushings, gear wheels etc. of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and composite materials on the basis of UHMWPE produced by the method of ram-extrusion.
Billets of different type and size of building elements of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and composite materials on the basis of UHMWPE subsequently are subjected to machining for production of details of needed form.
To increase physic mechanical indicators of material and also to improve properties of items, various additives can be used: fiber glass, coke, wollastonite, silicon carbide, powders of metals, etc. with various mass contents (up to 30 %).
Introduction of such types of additives allows to reduce deterioration and increase durability of received details so that later on they can be used as details of conveyors of bearings, gear wheels working without greasing in conditions of aggressive environments, piston rings of compressors, linings and consolidations working at dynamic loads and in hard terms of operation.
In some cases, the received items can be used as analogues of the items produced from metal, rubber or other materials, thus having considerably better service properties.
Items have a number of advantages in comparison with items from fluoropolymer:
• Items from UHMWPE have smaller weight, owing to smaller density of a material;
• Items from UHMWPE are much cheaper, owing to smaller cost of initial materials;
• Absence cold fluidity for items from UHMWPE;
Use of items from polymer materials instead of items from steel materials allows to considerably lighten the weight of an exploitable construction on the whole.
Production of billets of different types and size of building elements is possible:
Max diameter of rods - 100 mm;
Work on press moulds of the customer is possible.
